Overview
The Chicago CREATE Program is a public-private partnership dedicated to improving the safety and efficiency of one of the nation's busiest rail networks. The objective was to create an engaging LinkedIn animation that communicated the program's impact through clear, data-driven storytelling while increasing awareness of its importance to both regional communities and the national freight network.

The Challenge
The CREATE Program involved complex transportation data and statistics that could be difficult for audiences to quickly understand. The challenge was to transform technical information into a concise, visually engaging story that would capture attention on LinkedIn while remaining easy to follow.

Design Approach
I focused on creating a motion graphic that simplified the information without sacrificing accuracy. By combining bold typography, custom illustrations, animation, and clear visual hierarchy, I guided viewers through key statistics and messages in a way that was engaging and easy to digest. Every animation was designed to support the story rather than distract from it, helping viewers understand the significance of the program within a short amount of time.

The Solution
The final deliverable was a LinkedIn infographic animation that highlighted the CREATE Program's achievements, including the volume of freight and passenger trains moving through Chicago each day and the program's continued investment in safety, modernization, and infrastructure improvements. The animation transformed complex transportation data into an accessible visual narrative that aligned with HNTB's communication goals.

Outcome
The project demonstrated how motion design and visual storytelling can make technical information more engaging for a professional audience. By presenting data in a clear and approachable format, the campaign helped communicate the value of the CREATE Program while reinforcing HNTB's expertise in transportation infrastructure and public engagement.
